My Favorite Orlando Coffee Shops for Getting Remote Work Done (and Pretending I’m Freelance)

From matcha-fueled focused work sessions to sipping a latte during content reviews, these are the spots that make remote work a whole vibe.

Why This List Exists

Let’s face it: sometimes working remotely just hits different when you’re surrounded by lattes, indie playlists, and the ambience of a coffee shop. Orlando has no shortage of amazing coffee shops, but which ones are actually good to work from?

I’ve tested quite a few while chasing my creative goals, gluten-free snacks, outlets, and decent Wi-Fi. Whether you’re a freelancer, remote worker, student, or just someone playing the part for the day, here are my go-to spots in Orlando to work, sip, and maybe pretend I don’t have a 9–5.

Bynx (Downtown Orlando)

A record shop + coffee shop + wine bar = my creative sanctuary

This is hands-down my favorite coffee shop in Orlando. It’s more than a caffeine stop, it’s a full-on creative hub. Bynx blends music, art, and coffee into one cozy space. There’s almost always something happening here: paint & sip nights, live music, script readings… it’s a dream for creatives.

  • Vibe: Artistic, cozy, community-focused
  • Wi-Fi & seating: Strong Wi-Fi and decent seating, though it can get busy during events
  • Drinks: Coffee, tea, sangria (!), wine
  • Food: Light bites + gluten-free options
  • My go-to: Matcha or coffee during the day… sangria in the evening

Foxtail Coffee Co. (Multiple locations, esp. Winter Park)

The chain that doesn’t feel like a chain

Foxtail surprised me, it’s technically a chain, but each location feels curated and local. The Winter Park one is my favorite: it has a full food menu and a Kelly’s Ice Cream inside (hello, workday reward). Their matcha is truly good, and I’ve spent full workdays here more than once.

  • Vibe: Comfortable, polished, not-too-corporate
  • Wi-Fi & seating: Ample seating (location dependant) + good Wi-Fi
  • Food: Full meals, pastries, Kelly’s Ice Cream!
  • My go-to: Matcha + ice cream when the to-do list is done

Deeply Coffee (Downtown Orlando)

For true coffee lovers and serious creatives

Deeply is sleek, minimal, and very popular with downtown’s creative crowd. Their coffee is no-frills, high-quality stuff, no crazy flavors, just coffee. While the drinks are great, I don’t go here often because parking is a struggle, and I like a bit more “fun” in my flavoring.

  • Vibe: Modern, artsy, more serious
  • Wi-Fi & seating: Smaller space, so seats can be limited
  • Food: Very limited
  • My go-to: An iced latte, if I can find a seat

Qreate Coffee + Studio (Mills 50 Area)

A creative’s dream space (with a literal photo studio inside)

Qreate blends coffee and content in the best way. It has a full photo studio in the back and a stylish, curated coffee shop up front. I haven’t worked from here yet, but I’m dying to. My only concern? It’s a smaller space, so not sure it’s ideal for long laptop days.

  • Vibe: Trendy, modern, highly visual
  • Wi-Fi & seating: Limited space, better for shorter visits
  • Food: Small bites + creative drink menu
  • My go-to: TBD but next time, I’m bringing my camera

Craft & Common (Downtown Orlando)

Trendy, woman-owned, and welcoming

Craft & Common is a vibe. The aesthetic is unmatched, and their drinks + food are amazing. It’s a popular spot (it gets busy), but if you can snag a seat, you’re in! Bonus points for being women-owned and offering beer/wine for your post-work needs.

  • Vibe: Stylish, social, but busy
  • Wi-Fi & seating: Limited, go early to grab a seat
  • Food: Great menu with one GF quiche option
  • My go-to: Matcha or iced latte

Stemma Craft Coffee (Downtown Orlando)

Locally owned and full of history (and sandwiches)

Stemma is family-owned, and it shows. The coffee is highly respected by the serious coffee crowd, but what really makes it great for remote work is the food. Toasts, sandwiches, salads, it’s a true work-all-day kind of place.

  • Vibe: Cozy, thoughtful, neighborhood-favorite
  • Wi-Fi & seating: Smaller space but work-friendly
  • Food: Actual meals + quick bites
  • My go-to: Coffee + a breakfast sandwich = fueled for hours

Stardust Video and Coffee (Audubon Park)

Grungy, funky but in the best way

Stardust is that cool, slightly chaotic coffee shop that feels like a secret (but isn’t). It’s part bar, part café, part community art space. Think: vintage photo booth, random wall art, creative events, and a “who even chose this painting?” vibe. It’s a little noisy for focused deep work depending on the time of day, but perfect if you’re writing, editing photos, or catching up with friends.

  • Vibe: Indie, artsy, unpredictable
  • Wi-Fi & seating: Lots of seating but can be chatty
  • Food & drink: Small snacks, cocktails, coffee
  • My go-to: Iced Latte

Final Thoughts

Orlando’s coffee shop scene is so much more than your average latte. Whether you’re powering through your inbox, editing videos, or working on your dream freelance project (even if you’re still in your 9–5), there’s a spot here for every type of remote worker.

Let me know if I missed your favorite! I’m always on the lookout for a new coffee shop with good Wi-Fi, a gluten-free snack, and maybe even a glass of sangria to celebrate a to-do list well done.
